The corona pandemic has not affected the Swedish long-distance stars' professional practice very much, but what still happened was that the camp activities were postponed.

Now you are still in camp in Sollefteå and Ebba Andersson reflects on the time that has been:

- We have the privilege that our workplace is usually out in the woods, in our solitude or at most in the company of national team mates.

We have been able to maintain it, but the difference this year compared to before is that our camp operations started much later.

We had to be patient, she says.

The restrictions may have meant that the riders in the national team have stayed healthy.

- I think we do a great job in Sweden, because the group has not been this healthy for many summers and autumns.

There are a lot of us who have kept ourselves healthy and gained continuity in training, so I think that really means that we have a good foundation when the competitions start, says Charlotte Kalla and continues:

- We are careful with sleep, recovery, eating at the right times and hand hygiene.

It's something that sits in the spinal cord for us.

The World Cup calendar will be announced at the beginning of October.

The undoubted highlight will still be the World Cup in Oberstdorf.

- It is something that shines a little extra when you think of the season that will soon start.

It will be great fun with a WC in Oberstdorf, says Kalla.
