16 wins out of 16 possible.

Ten competitions over six meters.

Two world records.

The world's highest hope ever outdoors.

Armand "Mondo" Duplantis 2020 surpasses most, and when SVT Sports expert Alhaji Jeng sums up the year, he does so in the following words:

- Magically, can we put that as a title?

15 competitions over six meters, indoors and outdoors.

Ten competitions over six meters!

Think like this: In 2018, he had six meters once.

Last year he jumped six meters twice, then he comes in to 2020 and has risen from jumping once in 2018, twice in 2019 and then over ten times in 2020, he says, and adds:

- We must keep in mind that the external conditions have been anything but perfect all the time.

Still, he has that level of jumping.

It's probably the sickest thing anyone has done in history.

What are you most impressed with?

- The carpet is pulled away when the uncertainty comes.

He has not been able to prepare at all but has had to train or at home in the garden and much has been shut down as a gym and training plans.

He has more or less had to start competing at once, so it is an element that I think is very impressive.

"Lift three dimensions"

Even though Duplantis already took European Championship gold in Berlin two years ago, Jeng could not have imagined that Duplantis would have as good a 2020 as he has had.

- Last year, people thought “What potential he has!

In a few years, it may have received a boost ”.

He had admittedly jumped six meters with more taste, but every five up there is something different from going from 5.80 to 5.85.

It may take a few years.

So they thought that at the 2024 Olympics, maybe he could be up and sniffing at world record heights, says Jeng, and continues:

- But that he comes as he did indoors.

It was as if he was lifting three dimensions!

How high can he jump?

- If you just look at what his jump today indicates and how high he is now, then I will not be surprised if he jumps 6.40, you can see what margin he has for the crossbar.
