A proposal for a ceiling of 500 people, compared to the current 50, has been investigated by the government and there were hopes that a change could take effect from 1 October.

But after the spread of infection has started to increase again in Sweden, no change takes place.

They do not rule out easing restrictions regarding the 50 limit, but this has not been decided on today, says Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren.

However, she does not answer the question of whether this means that the rule will not be eased until 1 October, when it was previously suggested that the new recommendations could take effect.
