The Emirates Motor and Motorcycle Organization confirmed the organization of a karting race, tomorrow, Friday, within the eighth round of the "Rotax Max" championship, which was postponed last season due to the conditions the world is going through due to the spread of the "Covid-19" epidemic.
The tour will be held at the Dubai Kartdrome, in addition to the organization of the first round of the (IAME) championship, which will be held at the "Rack Track" circuit in Ras Al Khaimah.
The largest event expected in the UAE remains the confirmation of the return of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Grand Prix, which is scheduled to be held from December 11 to 13.
It is noteworthy that the Emirates Automobile and Motorcycle Organization will organize 100 events in the 2020-2021 season, similar to the karting and racing championships: endurance karting, motocross, endurocross, as well as road races for motorcycles and cars, in addition to rally and baja, Formula 4, drifting and digital motorsport.
The organization said, in a press release, that it had reduced all local competition licensing fees by 50% until the end of the year, and had begun issuing electronic licenses to serve as an enhancement to the free communication process when registering and signing the event.
