Postponing the "general swimming elections" at the request of the International Federation

The Emirates Swimming Federation confirmed today that the holding of the electoral general assembly, which was scheduled to take place on October 21, will be postponed at the request of the International Swimming Federation.

The Secretary-General of the Swimming Federation, Abdullah Al-Wahaibi, confirmed to "Emirates Today" that the International Federation of Swimming Federation addressed the federation to postpone the electoral general assembly, until the amendments approved by the Federation's General Assembly are approved early this month.

And based on the message (Swimming International), it was assumed that the International Federation would be informed of the new amendments 60 days before the holding of the elections, and accordingly the International Federation requested that the elections be postponed until the new amendments are approved.

Al-Wahaibi said that October 21 has been determined to respond to the International Federation, after discussing the new amendments.
