Linus Sundström was seriously injured during a crash in Poland last season.
Tonight, almost exactly one year after the accident, he was a big contributing factor when Västervik advanced to the semifinals.
- It is fighting spirit, he says to SVT Sport.
He broke both his femur and his upper arm and was forced to undergo two operations.
- I had a really tough season in the elite series last year, but had a couple of good competitions in the back before the crash happened.
So I decided at once that the crash would not end my career, but that I will continue to drive speedway and continue investing, he says.
Västervik beat Rospiggarna in the quarter finals with a total of 99-81.
