  • A source close to OM told AFP that the club had videos that would incriminate Neymar for racist remarks.

A source close to Olympique de Marseille, who wished to remain anonymous, told AFP that the club had images on which Neymar, who said he was the victim of racist abuse, would himself utter insulting remarks against the Japanese Hiroki Sakai during the controversial match between Paris SG and OM in mid-September.

While the Brazilian assured to have been the target of racist remarks on the part of the Spanish defender of Marseille Alvaro Gonzalez, the media fire and backfire have multiplied in the Brazilian and Spanish media in recent hours, an extension of this stormy "clasico Polluted by five evictions.

On Monday, the Brazilian channel TV Globo reported that PSG had handed over to the French Professional Football League (LFP) a video showing, according to lip reading experts, that Neymar would have been the victim of racist remarks during the PSG-OM shock of September 13 at Parc des Princes.

This media battle comes as the disciplinary committee of the LFP has opened an investigation into the accusations of racism of which Neymar said he was a victim.

The investigation should also allow to study the words of the Brazilian, who would have launched a homophobic insult to Alvaro, according to images analyzed by Spanish media.

"We do not comment" on this file, reacted a spokesperson for OM.

"We will entrust all our expertise and analyzes to the instructor" of the LFP, he added.

For its part, the Paris SG transmitted a video to the LFP, with images that "illuminate the behavior of the players", confirmed to AFP a source close to the Parisian club who wished to remain anonymous, while beating in breach the new charges against Neymar.
