The 24-year-old Malmö striker is looking forward to starting playing matches again when last season had an abrupt end with covid-19.

Ellen Rasmussen enters the season with a certain favorite.

- It is very honorable to receive the award Sweden's best player, but I do not think it will change me as a person that much, she says.

Double world champion

Even though her Malmö FBC never got further than to the quarter-finals in the Swedish Championship play-offs, she knows what it is like to take gold, even then with the national team.

She has managed to win two World Cup golds and hopes for more.

- It also carries with it a favorite and a high pressure from outside and from ourselves that we always want to be the best in the world.

Wants to be the best in the world

The award "Sweden's best player" can be won several times.

Ellen Rasmussen will do what she can to take it home again.

- I aim to become the world's best player, so then I hope that I can become Sweden's as well.

Even if the goal is to become the best in the world, she will not leave Malmö.

- No, then ... I will play in Malmö as long as I play floorball.

I'm pretty sure of that.

I feel far too good to move out of town, loved ones, family and friends and things that I think are too important.

Everything has to work for you to perform on the pitch and I have those pieces here at home.
