Peter Bosz confirms that the KNVB has approached him with a view to the national team coaching at Orange.

The Bayer Leverkusen trainer does not feel that he is not being taken very seriously by director Nico-Jan Hoogma.

"I was asked by Nico-Jan if I am available. I then referred him to my employer Leverkusen, where I have just extended my contract for two years," said Bosz.

"Nico immediately said that they were not going to do that. I therefore do not have the impression that they really wanted me. I was not asked if I want to become a national coach, so I did not have to answer that question."
