Näsjumbon Helsingborg visited table-toppers Varberg in the 21st round of the Allsvenskan - and ended up at an early disadvantage.

After a short tussle with the defender, Gustaf Norlin finally tucked the ball home.

At the end of the first half, however, everything turned around.

The equalizer was scored by Alex Timossi Andersson after an almost comical goal chance.

Armin Gigovic pulled in with a shot that hit both posts before it bounced out to Timossi Andersson, who put 1-1.

Turn

Just before the break, the turnaround was completed when the home team received a questionable penalty.

Anthony van den Hurk was confident - 2-1.

Twenty minutes into the second half, the Varberg players shouted for a penalty in a suspicious hand situation, but the referee correctly chose to release.

Instead, the match was punctured by Rasmus Jönsson.

The striker went deep, shaved 3-1 and coach Olof Mellberg celebrated happily.

The victory means that Helsingborg leaves the relegation zone and steps up on the same points as AIK, which is twelfth.
