Only 5,000 people against the tens of thousands in previous years will be allowed to attend the arrival of the Tour De France this Sunday on the Champs-Elysées.
But before placing themselves, masked, along the security barriers, the public will first have to go through one of the filtering and counting points held by the police.
Control points well away from the public
These checkpoints will be located a good distance from the cyclists' route in order to prevent the crowd from congregating upstream to try to see their favorites.
Covid-19 requires, no spectator will be allowed to go to the finish line, nor to the final part of the circuit, usually the most popular.
Finally, the team village, Place de la Concorde, will also be closed to the public.
A device that promises an arrival in Paris much less festive than usual!
