After the victory of the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar on the Tour de France, the Minister for Sports Roxana Maracineanu returned to the progress of this 2020 edition, unprecedented in view of the health context.

She shared her enthusiasm to see the Great Loop come to an end.

This 2020 edition of the Tour de France was unprecedented in many ways: by crowning the youngest winner of the event since 1904, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, but also by taking place in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.

While the runners arrived on the Champs-Elysées on Sunday, the Minister for Sports, Roxana Maracineanu expressed her joy: "We are relieved, proud and happy for sport".
