The Football Professional League concluded the activities of the strategic retreat that took place over four days with the Japanese League, the Swedish League, the Spanish League and the English League.

The association said, in a statement yesterday: “The retreat focused on examining best practices and identifying areas for exchanging experiences to develop and improve all aspects of work, strengthening the association’s ability to build strategic initiatives that align with distinguished practices at the international level, and raising levels of global competitiveness within the framework of the association’s work to draw a road map The new strategic plan 2020-2030 ».

For his part, the Executive Director of the Association, Walid Al Hosani, expressed his happiness with the result of the retreat and his appreciation for the participating ties that helped enrich the dialogue during the sessions.

The experience also contributed to identifying best practices and helped us define the priorities and objectives of the strategic plan.

In turn, Takeuki Oya, from the Global Business Administration Department of the JLL, praised the development efforts made by the UAE Professional League, saying: “The JLL works with other associations across Asia and the rest of the world to share knowledge and learn about best practices.”

He added, "The discussions showed that the UAE Professional League is working hard to compete with the Japanese League in the future, and we wish them success in their new strategy."

“There are many similar challenges between the Swedish League and the UAE Professional League, and this was clearly demonstrated during the sessions, and I hope that the Swedish League’s experiences will help the UAE Professional League achieve great success in the coming years,” said the Swedish League’s Executive Director, Mats Enquist.

As for the Executive Director of the Spanish League in the Middle East and North Africa, Maiti Fontura, she said: “During the retreat, we were able to share some information about the success of the Spanish League in becoming the most popular league in the world in recent years, highlighting the successes and challenges we faced.” .

The Executive Director of the English Premier League, David Baldwin, said: "The English Football League has faced many challenges in the past period, and we realize that our experiences may be useful to other associations that are keen to learn about the ways we deal with different issues and how to address them."
