Lindgren otherwise started the competition strongly and took eight points in his first three appearances.

Among other things, he swept the entire field in his third heat, when he started from the yellow outer court.

Lindgren went inside Matejz Zagar, Tai Woffinden and Jason Doyle and won the heat after some nice overtaking.

Four in the final heat

Lindgren then finished the basic competition with two two-pointers and finished third in the basic competition with twelve points.

In the final, Lindgren started on the red inner track, next to the worst World Cup competitor Bartosz Zmarzlik.

The reigning world champion Zmarzlik also took the lead in the heat, but was passed by Tai Woffinden.

The Briton also led the final heat into the final lap before Zmarzlik passed and took his second straight victory in Prague.

Zmarzlik has seized

Lindgren was last in the final heat where he was also passed by Jason Doyle.

Ahead of the two final competitions in Torun, Poland on October 2-3, Zmarzlik leads by 99 points, seven ahead of Fredrik Lindgren.
