  In 2016, Juventus successfully bought Higuain from Naples with a record-breaking Serie A transfer fee of 90 million euros. The two sides signed a five-year contract. In the first season of joining Juventus, he scored 32 goals and won Serie A and Italian Cup double crown.

  He played 149 games for Juventus, scoring 66 goals and sending 16 assists.

Last season, the 32-year-old Higuain made just 28 starts for Juventus and scored 11 goals.
