Aguero miss Manchester City two months

Josep Guardiola, coach of the Manchester City football team, has confirmed that Argentine striker Sergio Aguero will be absent from the team for up to two months.

Aguero, 32, underwent surgery on his left knee last June and has not returned to the stadiums yet.

Guardiola told reporters on Friday evening: "We knew that the injury was difficult."

He added, "He is doing his job, maybe in a month or two he will be ready."

Guardiola said Aguire, Manchester City's historic top scorer, will need some time to regain his physical readiness when he returns.

"He must return to the stadium and restore his physical condition," Guardiola said.

He stressed: "Sergio has been absent from the team for a long time, and he is not the one who regains his physical condition quickly, so I think that in a month or two he will be ready."

Manchester City starts its campaign in the English Premier League against its host Wolverhampton on Monday, after he got a rest in the first round.
