Al-Nazzal Island from "UFC" returns to Abu Dhabi this 26th, with the participation of world champion Mamedov
The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi and the Mixed Martial Arts Foundation (UFC) have announced that they will organize the activities of "Return to Nazzal Island by UFC" on Yas Island, from this 26th to the 24th of next October.
The organization of the championship comes less than three months after the conclusion of the first session, with the tourism sector in Abu Dhabi registering a new achievement, confirming that it is moving in the right direction towards resuming activities and receiving visitors in a healthy and safe environment.
The UAE capital continues to consolidate its leading position in organizing the largest international sporting events, to provide international athletes with a distinctive platform to display their skills and at the same time drive the local economy.
The event will witness the "UFC 253" and "UFC 254", as well as three "UFC - Fight Night" events. While the five events are held without public attendance, this is the first time that two consecutive UFC Championships have been held. FC "is located in the same city outside Las Vegas, marking another milestone in Abu Dhabi's record as a global destination for sport.
The UFC Return to Island of Battlefield events will kick off with the middleweight championship, "UFC 253: Addisania vs. Costa", on September 26th, followed by "UFC - Fight Night: Hulme vs. Aldana" on October 3rd, followed by "UFC - Fight Night: Morais vs. Sandhagen" on October 10, followed by "UFC - Fight Night: Ortega vs. Corian Zombie" on October 17th.

The head of the department, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, said in a press statement: “Al Nazzal Island has achieved unparalleled success, and the return of the event to Yas Island confirms the strength and success of our partnership with UFC and is clear evidence of the high levels of global confidence in the health measures taken by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its readiness to host Global events within a healthy and safe environment according to the highest standards, and the return to Nazzal Island from UFC reinforces the successive successes recorded by the cooperation of the various stakeholders in ensuring public health in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the full readiness to welcome visitors, engage in business activities and hold international events in various Sectors. "
