The French League determines the term of suspension of Neymar

The French Football League said yesterday evening that the Brazilian star Neymar received a ban for two games after his recent troubled return to the starting line-up of Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar will be under observation for a third match.

During the match that took place last Sunday against Olympique de Marseille, Neymar received a red card for his assault on Alvaro Gonzalez, the Marseille player, who later accused him of racism.

Neymar was one of five players to receive the red card after a group fight.

The others also got penalties.

The League stated that it would investigate charges of racist abuse.

Neymar recently apologized for his behavior, but renewed his accusations of racism.

He wrote on "Instagram": "Racism and intolerance are unacceptable."

The Brazilian star confirmed once again that his emotion was strongly caused by racist comments.

Gonzalez and coach Andre Viach Boach denied the allegations after the match.
