Real ready to pay half of Bale's salary?

But according to English media, Spurs want Bale on loan as a first step, and would like to pay only half of his salary, as well as some bonuses depending on the Welsh international's performance (around 20 mlillion in total for the 2020-2021 season).

Gareth Bale has scored 105 goals and totaled 68 assists in 251 appearances for Real Madrid since joining in 2013, and has won four Champions Leagues and two Spanish leagues.

Despite some notable feats of arms, Bale's years in Madrid were marred by injuries, and the right-winger's role has diminished considerably since Zinédine Zidane arrived on the Merengue bench.

If the move to Tottenham goes through, Bale would join Portugal coach Jose Mourinho there.
