The Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled presents one of the rare experiences in administrative work around the world, where Luay Saeed Allai holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, despite his being blind.

Allai succeeded in overcoming his disability, and provided a successful example in the integration of people of determination into society, whether in administrative work or in the sports field.

Allai said, to "Emirates Today": "I am the first blind to hold the position of vice chairman of a club in the world, and this is according to my follow-up."

He continued: I look forward to being at the good of the club, and I am proud of this assignment and proud of it.

This applies the saying of the right man in the right place, regardless of whether he is normal or disabled, and my goal is to promote the culture of integrating the disabled in society.

Allai was included in the sport of people of determination as a player, since he was in his early years, then a coach and a media player, before becoming deputy chairman of the board of directors.

He also said: "I look forward to representing people of determination in a distinctive way in administrative work, and to presenting the best pictures of them so that they can obtain leadership positions in sports work in the future."

Luay Allai said that he loves field work, and he does not prefer staying in a specific place to work.

He revealed that despite this, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Bani Rashid, had left his office in his honor.

He said: I am proud of that, and I have the honor of this matter.

Regarding the way he works in light of the visual impairment, he said that he knows how to manage things, because a professional team supports him, and he said that he is familiar with these matters since he had a low percentage of vision in the past.

He stressed that, "Regardless of whether the administrator is together, or someone of determination, what is required is to work with his mind and heart, more than his eyesight and body, which is what I am trying to do."

For his part, the President of the West Asian Federation, and the Chairman of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Bani Rashid, said that the assignment of Luay Allai to this position is a message to the sports community that the owners of the case are the first to lead their cause.

He continued, to "Emirates Today": We have worked hard for many years, in order for this day to come when people with disabilities receive leadership positions, to lead the management of their business because they are more knowledgeable about it.

He said: I feel very happy, so the guidance has been provided to provide everything that would make this mission a success, which reflects that integrating people of determination into society in the state is a word and action.

He concluded by saying: The task was not limited to assigning Louay Alai only, but there are other disabled people who have received other important positions in the club .. training and supervisory.
