Bale's agent confirms the Welsh star's move from Madrid to Tottenham within a week

The chapters on the return of the Welsh international winger Gareth Bale to his former team, Tottenham Hotspur from Real Madrid, will end this week, according to what his agent Jonathan Barnett told AFP today.

And the final touches are being put on a complicated deal between Madrid and Spears, as it is expected that the "Welsh train" will return to the North London club, which it left in 2013 in a world record deal at the time amounting to 100 million euros.

"We are close to where we want to go," Barnett told AFP, adding, "I think things will be completed this week."

The club is pressing for a permanent transfer for the 31-year-old, hoping to get rid of his salary burden of around 30 million euros.

On the other hand, Tottenham is against the will of the Spanish champion, as it seeks to obtain Bale's services on loan as part of a package that includes payment of about half of his salary, in addition to some additional expenses according to the performance of the Welshman.

The total deal cost "Spears" about 20 million euros for this season, knowing that there are two years left since the Welshman's contract with the Royal Club.

The Welsh international scored 105 goals and provided 68 assists in 251 matches for the Spanish capital club, winning the Champions League four times and winning the domestic league twice.

However, Bale, who played 83 international matches, suffered repeated injuries during his early years in Madrid, before finding himself on the bench in recent years with the French Zinedine Zidane taking over the coaching duties.

In the event that he moves to Tottenham, Bell will play under the supervision of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, noting that the latter stated on Wednesday that he sought to sign a contract with the Welshman during his supervision of Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013.
