The Masers had major injury problems in the squad and driver crisis before the start of the series.
But during the journey, the vulnerable situation has reversed.
On Wednesday, the club presented the colorful 43-year-old Danish profile Nicki Pedersen as a replacement for German Martin Smolinski, who has been injured all season.
Pedersen was actually supposed to drive for Rospiggarna this season, but when the corona crisis came, that agreement was never fulfilled.
One of the sport's biggest
Now he is back for a new stay in Sweden.
Masarna will be the eighth club he runs for in Sweden since his debut year 1997.
Nicki Pedersen is one of the sport's biggest profiles of all time with, among other things, three individual World Cup golds (2003, 2007, 2008) on the merit list and has a total of 18 medals, including the World Cup.
The Masers will play quarter finals against Vetlanda next week, starting on Tuesday in Avesta.
