The Dubai Sports Council announced the organization of the "Al Marmoom Race to Run on Sand Dunes", in cooperation with the "Fit Group" Middle East Company, on November 13th, and its competitions will be hosted by the Al Marmoom Nature Reserve, for a distance of five kilometers.

A press release said that yesterday, registration was opened to participate in the race for all categories of residents and visitors, men and women, aged 15 years and over, as they can register in one of four categories, the first is the professional category, and it will be for the competitors who Under the age of 18, obtain the approval of their parents to participate, and registration will close at midnight on the eighth of November.

The Dubai Sports Council called on all those wishing to participate to attend free training sessions consisting of four rounds of the Al Marmoom Desert Reserve in the period leading up to the event, as training sessions will be held once every two weeks on Friday mornings on September 26, the ninth, October 23 and the sixth of November. These trainings will be open to everyone and free of charge. Participation in them is not limited to desert runners, but rather includes the runners community, where other runners of all levels and experiences can benefit from them.

"At the end of the race, the participants will receive distinguished medals, and the winners of the first three places, in each category, male and female, will be awarded valuable prizes," the statement said.
