The Football Association Board of Directors, during its eighth meeting yesterday, through visual communication technology, headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Federation, and with the participation of all members, the recommendation of the National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee to oblige the clubs to appoint a national coach within the technical apparatus of all clubs in the team The first and all the Sunni stages, starting from next season, to be optional this season, as part of the Football Association's keenness to support the national technical cadres and give them more experience.

The Football Association said in a statement yesterday: “The meeting also discussed the program for preparing the first national team for the coming months of October and November, in preparation for the joint qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Finals, which FIFA decided to postpone to next year. As a result of the current health conditions, as well as the program for preparing our junior team for the AFC U-16 Championship, scheduled in Bahrain, which has been postponed to next year, as the General Secretariat was assigned to coordinate with the relevant authorities in the country about the scheduled camps and matches, in a way that guarantees public safety.

The statement added, "The Council has assigned the Strategy and Investment Committee to begin preparing the federation's strategy 2021-2025 with one of the international companies specialized in preparing sports strategies."
