People of determination thank Mohammed bin Zayed for launching the comprehensive strategy 2020-2024
The “People of Determination” thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for launching His Highness the Comprehensive Strategy for People of Determination in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi 2020-2024, with the participation of more than 28 concerned local and federal government agencies, and led by The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of making the emirate an inclusive, ready and possible city for people of determination, in line with the department's vision to provide a decent life for all members of society, stressing that this initiative pleased all "people of determination", especially athletes among them.
This came in a press statement, where a member of the International Paralympic Committee, Chairman of the UAE Paralympic Committee, Mohammed Al-Hamli, explained that this initiative is not strange to His Highness, as he supports this segment, indicating that “the comprehensive strategy for people of determination in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is an essential step towards further integration and empowerment. For this basic group in society, with the aim of unleashing its full energies so that it becomes an integral part of the development process, and achieves more distinction and achievements, and will turn the dreams of (people of determination) into reality, as he is the compassionate father of this group that is dear to everyone's hearts, and that the successes they achieved are the fruit of Support wise leadership ».
He said: “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s interest in (people of determination) shed light on their unlimited capabilities as individuals capable of excellence and creativity, presenting stories of successes that embodied the strength of will that opened the door to the future for them to achieve their ambitions at all levels.”
He stressed that the wise leadership's support for "people of determination" and the great attention it continued to enjoy had a positive impact on the qualitative shift for them, which it continued to support through legislation and laws that guarantee them their rights and duties in society, in addition to the direct support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their activities and programs, to reap the fruits of this by achieving successes and reaching the podiums in continental and international forums.
He pointed out that the UAE’s access to leadership in the field of people of determination is a result of the great support and interest on the part of the wise leadership to provide infrastructure for "people of determination."
