Sunday night at the Parc des Princes, Olympique de Marseille won against PSG (1-0) for the first time in nine years.

An endless wait for the supporters of OM, who logically celebrated the event in the streets of the Marseille city.

With fireworks, smoke, horns and ... broken voices.

REPORTAGE

Nine years that OM supporters have been waiting for this.

Nine years of helplessly witnessing their team's inability to defeat the hated rival, PSG.

Sunday evening, this interminable wait ended thanks to a goal from Thauvin (1-0) registered at the Parc des Princes.

And if the evening was marred by a festival of cards (14 yellow and 5 red), and by a controversy - Neymar accusing an opponent of racism -, this did not spoil the party which won the streets of Marseille in the evening.

Smoke, shouts, horn concerts… The atmosphere had everything of a great cup final night when it was only the third day of Ligue 1. And some had trouble coming down.

"It's incredible, frankly. These are emotions that we have not experienced for nine years," said a young man.

"I can't even describe. It's joy, pride… I missed it personally."
