English professional football Tottenham's Son Heung-min played full-time in the opening match of the new season against Everton, but was unable to raise the attack point.

Tottenham lost 0-1 to Everton, who scored the winning goal by Dominic Calbert-Lewin in the 2020-2021 Premier League round 1 held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

Son Heung-min started playing in the opening game of the regular league for the first time after transferring to Tottenham in 2015 and was able to hit the ground until the end of the game, but could not raise the attacking point.

In the middle of Son Heung-min's main position as the left flank,'main gun' Harry Kane was the one-top striker, and Lucas Mora from the right flank formed Tottenham's'triangle'.

In Everton, Calbert-Lewin and Hisharison, and James Rodriguez, who had been transferred from Real Madrid, made up the attack.

Son Heung-min, who was in excellent condition with four goals in the four preseason games, moved actively in the first half.

In the 24th minute of the first half, a diagonal cross aimed at Kane's foot was raised from the left, but the shot was missed due to a slight difference.

Two minutes later, the ball from a corner kick was finished with a right-footed shot from the left side of the goal area, but the defense cleared.

Son Heung-min had a decisive opportunity to raise his first attack point in the 33rd minute of the first half of the season.

In a counterattack, the ball is aimed at Delhi Ali, who penetrates the right side of the penalty area, but Ali's shot is blocked by the goalkeeper and hit the ground.

Everton wasn't standing still.

In the first half of the 16th minute, the goalkeeper of Hishalisson and the one-on-one chance were lost, and Everton, who swallowed a regret, eventually scored the winning goal in the 10th minute of the second half.

The free kick cross from the left by Luca Dinho was finished by Calbert-Lewin with a heading for a 1-0 goal.

In the second half, Son Heung-min focused on giving his teammates a chance to score by staying in the second line, perhaps due to the physical burden.

Unlike the first half, Tottenham seldom showed sharpness in the second half, and eventually lost the first match and started the season uneasy.

It has been 12 years since Tottenham lost Everton's regular league home game on 30 November 2008 (0-1 loss).
