"

 It's a good year

", Marseille supporters must think this Sunday, the day of the "

 Classic

" of Ligue 1 between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille, at the Parc des Princes.

Beaten in Lens (1-0), this Wednesday, September 9 with a workforce weakened by the positive Covid-19 test of seven executives, including Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas, Marquinhos and Mauro Icardi, PSG is no longer the team that made it to the Champions League final in August.

But the capital club recovered on Friday, recruiting Italian defender Alessandro Florenzi, qualified for the shock, and welcoming Neymar back to training.

The Brazilian number 10, like Di Maria, Navas and Paredes, reappear in the group, and apply to play, despite not being in optimal physical condition.

The right time for us

 "

The Marseillais who have not beaten PSG since 2011 (20 games without a win), are aware that their opponents are lessened.

We want to win, take advantage of the absences and their lack of training.

We looked at the difficulties they had against Lens.

Maybe it's a chance, the right time for us,

”said OM coach André Villas-Boas.

This 98th duel is therefore a golden opportunity for Marseille which will pass its first big test before the Champions League in October.
