The Syrian community’s women’s team won the basketball championship in the “Dubai Community Clubs and Communities Tournament” organized by the Dubai Sports Council, after defeating the Filipino community women's team 45 -41, while the Egyptian Social Club women's team finished third after its victory over the community’s women's team. A press release from the Dubai Sports Council said: "The session witnessed great success and wide participation from various nationalities that competed in football, basketball, cricket and badminton sports. In the badminton championship, the Indian Social Club of women and men dominated the championship titles, as Sachin Seth won first place in the men's singles category, while Indian Tanishah Krastow won first place in the women's singles category, and Indian duo Rohith Haredas and Chapel CP won first place in The doubles competitions are men, and in the doubles competitions are women, Indian Tanisha Krastu and Vidya Manganani won first place, and in the mixed doubles competitions, the Indian team consisting of James Varghese and Tanisha Krastow also won first place.

In the cricket championship, the Indian Social Club team won the championship, after defeating the Nepali community team.

The winners were crowned by Ahmed Ibrahim, Director of the Community Sports Department, and Fawzia Faridoun, Director of the Women's Sports Department, in the presence of members of the boards of directors of the community clubs participating in the session.

Ahmed Ibrahim said: “The health and safety of the participants was at the forefront of our priorities, as all precautionary measures were applied in all tournaments, and we were keen on the commitment of all participants and organizers to continuous sterilization and wear masks at all times while achieving physical distancing, and we handed over medals that bear pictures of the heroes of the defense line.
