11:30 am: Hello everyone!

Today, we are fully following this step.

Because it will be beautiful, but also because it passes through the most beautiful region in the world.

See you at noon to experience it!

The anticipated summary of the stage:

The usual suspects.

From the middle of the Col de Ceyssat, the breakaway of the day is formed with the "guys who pass the bumps well but are not dangerous in general and in good canes" that we see almost every day on this Tour: Hirschi , Alaphilippe, Kamna, Gaudu, Lutsenko, Neilands, Powless, Cosnefroy.

They are in all 20 at the front, including Sagan, who tears off to take the breakaway.

Behind, the peloton watches them go, no need to get into the hard, the stage will be long.

Benoit Cosnefroy, on good legs, takes the lead in the first three passes and largely consolidates his polka dot jersey.

Sagan, he wins the intermediate sprint and gets up in the next pass: his job is done.

The breakaway now has only 6 riders with 50 terminals from the finish: Hirschi, Lustenko, Alaphilippe, Gaudu, Kamna and Soler.

The peloton is at 9 'but is starting to get a little nervous.

In the Col de Néronne, an enormous cow farm, the race settles down.

Up front, Alaphilippe and Hirschi go solo and leave everyone on the asphalt in large percentages.

How beautiful they are, the two together.

Behind, the Jumbo squeezed.

It will sting.

Alaphilippe and Hirschi have won the race and send each other severe.

But no one can beat Julian's giclette on the 12% of Puy Mary.

The Frenchman imposed himself as the boss, Hirschi no longer had the stalks after his exploit yesterday.

But behind, the Tour de France is being played out.

Pogacar, ants in the legs, blew everyone up in Néronne.

There is no longer any Jumbo around Roglic, who must do the jump himself.

Only the 8 best of this Tour remain and Thibaut Pinot.

We don't really know why, but he's there.

Arrives the Puy Mary.

The group of 8 + 1 arrives at a frantic pace and Pogacar delivers one.

Bernal versus.

Roglic defends.

Bardet returns there.

Guillaume Martin cracks.

And there, surprisingly, it's Pinot who goes there.

And that's one attack too many for Roglic.

In complete loss of lucidity, the Slovenian forgets that Pinot is 3 million years old overall and tries to cover his attack before exploding in flight.

There are 1.5 kilometers left at 12%, the longest terminal five in Roglic's life.

In front, we seize the windfall and the best climbers of this Tour + Pinot stop attacking and ride together.

Only Quintana, Bardet, Pogacar, Bernal and Pinot are left.

Roglic quickly points to 10, 20, 30 seconds.

While everyone is looking at each other, Romain Bardet sets up a little to get the bonus' at the finish and finally creates a small agreement.

He arrives 8 seconds before the Bernal group, 54 before Roglic.

That's enough for the yellow jersey, with the bonus'.

The Frenchman is in yellow not far from home, and Roglic bites his fingers for not having attacked when he could have, in the Pyrenees.

This is the kind of stage we don't pay too much attention to when taking a global look at the Tour de France route.

And yet, much more could happen for the general classification over the 191 kilometers that will take the riders from Chatel-Guyon, in Puy-de-Dôme, to Puy Mary in Cantal, than since the start of the Tour.

Admittedly, no immense alpine ascent, pass outside category, but a despicable stage profile: climbs, descents, false flat, steep ... Not a meter flat after the 10th terminal, and the 'arrival at Puy Mari with the last two kilometers at 12%.

There will be a show, for sure
