It is a great victory for women's hockey, and an agreement that creates security and hope for the future for Swedish players.

The agreement includes, among other things, insurance that covers incurred injuries in SDHL or in connection with national team games.

- The players are now insured during national team games.

If you get an injury and can not play for a certain period of time or if it is a career-ending injury, says Stenberg.

- We have worked hard and strived for this for a long time.

Another big part of the agreement is the players' security after the career.

- When you quit, you get help with applying for a job and education.

says Stenberg and continues:

- Problems arise when you go from being an athlete to civilian work.

A third part is that employed players at a completely different level can now influence what happens in a workplace.
