At the beginning of June, a review by SVT Sport showed that the Swedish Figure Skating Association found out about malpractices in the sport on at least 15 occasions over a twelve-year period.

Shortly afterwards, an external investigation, commissioned by the association, showed that there are irregularities in the sport.

This is mainly due to a widespread culture of silence and authoritarian leadership.

The investigation showed, among other things, that coaches exposed skiers to emotional abuse and weight loss.

In connection with this, the Stockholm and Bohuslän Dal Figure Skating Federation demanded the resignation of the board.

"More or less clear"

However, Henriksson was clear that she will stand for re-election.

- It feels completely wrong to jump off when something is in a crisis, and where we are right now, Katarina Henriksson told SVT Sport in July.

According to information to SVT Sport, the nomination committee will present Henriksson as a proposal for chairman before the annual meeting on 26 September.

The Nomination Committee's chair Cecilia Falkenbäck does not want to confirm the information.

- We are more or less ready but there is nothing I can go out with now.

I send the documents to the Swedish Figure Skating Association and then they send out on Friday, I think, says Falkenbäck to SVT Sport.

Henriksson has not heard anything

Katarina Henriksson can also not confirm the information.

She tells SVT Sport that she does not know who has been proposed as chairman.

- I know nothing about that, documents will be issued tomorrow by the nomination committee.

So no one from the nomination committee has talked to you?

- No.

And if they talk to us before, there is nothing we convey.

At the end of August, SVT Sport was able to reveal that a record number of people have been nominated to the board - over ten.

Then the chairman of the nomination committee said that it could be due to the turbulence that has been after the investigation which shows misconduct in the sport.

- Probably you want to see something different, Cecilia Falkenbäck said then.

No later than Saturday, the Swedish Figure Skating Federation must present what the nomination committee's proposal for the board looks like.
