The big snack before this year's second major has been the heat that is currently in Mission Hills.
Last week it was 50 degrees in the shade.
When ANA Inspiration started, the temperature had dropped, but the heat was still noticeable.
Anna Nordqvist managed the heat in a good way as she got around 70 strokes and two under par.
Her only big mistake came on the 15th hole when she made a double bogey.
The first round is in progress and right now Nordqvist is two strokes behind Danielle Kang and Kelly Tan who lead by four under par.
Linnea Storm is currently on a stroke over par at the end of the first round.
It did not go as well for Dani Holmqvist who made nine over par.
