There is a specific recruitment that Vranjes is particularly pleased with.

- Getting a player like Markus Olsson is not something you say no to, he says in the broadcast.

However, he sees a problem in the fact that the talent Valter Chrintz, 20, has recently been lost to the German big club Füchse Berlin.

- Everyone understands that the loss is great.

He is a national team player and a future player.

We do not want to stop anyone and now we are looking at what opportunities there are.

We must say that we are looking for a replacement.

Sports director Jesper Larsson has been given the task of finding a new player who can replace Valter, says Vranjes.

"We aim to win the series"

Second in the coaches' tips is HK Malmö, but their goal is to finish higher than that.

- Our goal is to win the series.

We have been second in the series three years in a row so we want to reach higher this time, says coach Stian Tönnesen.

If the coaches get it right, IFK Skövde will be third.

- Of course we want to be a top team and we want to be part of it.

We have mostly focused on everyday life and take match after match.

It takes hard work to reach the top of the podium, says the new head coach Henrik Signell, who most recently came from the blue and yellow women's national team.

"Want to win gold and titles"

Another club that has a new coach is Sävehof, which has brought in Michael Apelgren.

On paper, Sävehof is still the reigning champion as no champion was named when the season was interrupted due to the corona pandemic.

- It feels good to be in a club that wants to win gold and titles, says Apelgren.

Alingsås, who led the series when it was discontinued, is tipped in sixth place.

15 teams will be 14

The Corona pandemic has meant that the handball league next season will be played with 15 teams instead of 14. The last two will be moved down, while teams 11-13 will qualify.

Then the league returns to 14 teams.

The coaches believe that Aranäs and Varberg and straight out, while Helsingborg, Önnered and Guif will qualify.

The handball league starts on Friday when Ystads IF receives Varberg.

Top-tipped Kristianstad premieres on Saturday away against HK Malmö.
