Sharjah prepares for the AFC Champions League to meet Hatta today

The Sharjah Football Team will play a friendly match against its counterpart Hatta at 17:45 pm today at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Hazana, as part of the team’s preparations for the AFC Champions League.

Sharjah will meet in the Champions League with Al-Duhail, Qatar, in the third and fourth rounds, in the third group, which includes Saudi cooperation and Iranian Berrozi, while Sharjah will face Al-Taawon and Beruzi in the fifth and sixth rounds.

Sharjah coach Abdulaziz Al-Anbari seeks, through this friendly experience, to determine the readiness of his players for the next stage.

In the recent period, Sharjah has intensified its preparations for the new season and the AFC Champions League, and has played a friendly four-way tournament in which the teams of Ittihad Kalba, Ajman and Khorfakkan participated, in which it occupied the last place.

Sharjah also played two friendly matches against Al-Nasr and the Emirates teams.

The Brazilian striker, Wilton Suarez, joined Sharjah recently from Al Wasl, after he was enrolled in the Asian team's list instead of Brazilian Jonatas, who underwent an operation after an injury he suffered in the team’s last friendly match against Al Nasr.
