Kramer has been sniffing at his own record several times this summer, but has not succeeded.

But this time he hit it off.

1.44.47 is over half a second better than the previous 1.45.03.

- So incredibly nice.

He has really shown incredible stability throughout the season and now he gets it, says SVT Sports expert Alhaji Jeng and continues:

- From a tactical perspective, it is a perfect race.

Kramer stayed far ahead throughout the race and with only about ten meters left of the race, the Swede led in Ostrava, but he was passed by the British Jake Wightman who set the personal best with 1.44.18.

Third in the race came the Bosnian World Cup runner-up Amel Tuka.

Kramer's previous personal best was from Karlstad in July 2018.
