At that time, the glass-covered sleek appearance attracted attention, which was the largest in the country, with a capacity of more than 5,000 people, but it was decided that it will be rebuilt 58 years later due to its deterioration.

Satoshi Kawahara (73), who was the former Japan national team coach for table tennis, has also walked with this “style” since he was a boy.



19 years ago, we established "Yokohama table tennis practice day" to open up "style" and cultivate Yokohama table tennis culture.



For this reason, it has been called "table tennis style" for some time.

Kawahara was gazing at the players playing with their eyes shining from one corner of the venue.
