Big fright this Tuesday morning on the Grande Boucle.
A 4-year-old child was struck by a vehicle from the Tour de France advertising caravan in Angoulins in Charente-Maritime.
He was slightly injured and taken to hospital in La Rochelle, reports
Sud Ouest.
He came out at the end of the morning.
The driver of the Leclerc vehicle stopped immediately to inquire about the child's state of health and give his contact details before reaching a meeting point on the route of the advertising caravan.
He was arrested "to be auditioned and to undergo a blood alcohol screening", indicates the gendarmerie to the regional daily.
For the moment, he is not in police custody.
