It was in the third round that Daniel Ståhl drew with Finnkampen's longest throw measuring 69.20 meters.

Even in the fifth round, Ståhl threw over 69 meters.

After the victory in Finnkampen, he finished with a rush that he always does.

- It really felt like he enjoyed competing here today, says SVT Sports expert Kajsa Bergqvist.

Behind Daniel Ståhl, Simon Petterson finished second when he threw 63.79 in the fourth round and Jakob Gardenkrans took third place with a throw of 56.93.

This means that the Swedish team took a maximum of 16–6 points after Finland got off to a flying start in Finnkampen.
