Both the English and Brazilian football federations announced yesterday that they will introduce equal pay for all national team players, ladies and men.

Here in Sweden, the issue is hotly debated after the Discrimination Ombudsman acquitted SvFF of wage discrimination last week.

The women's national team's Kosovar Asllani then went out and demanded that the association act.

At today's press conference, Emil Forsberg was asked about it, and then answered as follows:

- We have had a meeting and the union will probably communicate something.

SVT Sport later in the afternoon met Secretary General Håkan Sjöstrand, who then explained that the national team men decided to waive compensation during the autumn.
