Kazakh rider Alexey Lutsenko won the 6th stage of the Tour de France on Thursday at the top of Mont Aigoual, after a great breakaway.

The favorites neutralized each other and Briton Adam Yates kept his yellow jersey.

Alexey Lutsenko's daring paid off!

The Kazakh rider from the Astana team won solo on Thursday during the 6th stage of the Tour de France, at the top of Mont Aigoual, after sowing all his breakaway companions 16 km from the finish.

However, there was no explanation expected between favorites, despite the formidable Col de la Lusette (first category) 13.5 km from the finish. Consequence: the general classification remains unchanged and the Briton Adam Yates, who took the yellow jersey on Wednesday thanks to a penalty imposed on Julian Alaphilippe (for unauthorized refueling), retains the lead.
