Nantes skipper Armel Tripon has qualified for the Vendée Globe.

, the Nantes skipper has just completed a solo route of over 2,300 miles which took him from Brittany to the Azores then to the Irish lighthouse of Fastnet, and back.

By completing this course, he validated his entry ticket for the Vendée Globe and will be at the start of the round the world race on November 8.
