The players' agent, Walid Al-Shamsi, confirmed that the salary of a foreign player in the league may reach one million dirhams per month, in addition to bonuses and other incentives, stressing that large clubs pay foreign players about two million dollars (about 7.5 million dirhams) in order to sign a contract with a player from them.

Al-Shamsi told "Emirates Today": "Big clubs like Al-Ain, Al-Ahly and Al-Jazeera spend large sums of money in their contracts with players, given the fact that they seek to win championships."

He pointed out that there are clubs such as Sharjah, Al-Nasr, Al-Wasl and Al-Wehda that have begun to match them in financial spending on players' contracts, while the clubs with little spending on their contracts are the ones that compete for survival.

It is noteworthy that Al Shamsi previously mentioned that the monthly salary of the national team players, such as Omar Abdul Rahman, Ali Mabkhout and Ahmed Khalil, amounts to 500 thousand dirhams per month.

Al-Shamsi explained: “As for the top clubs, the amount of contracting with a foreign player for one season amounts to more than two million dollars, while Al-Wasat clubs spend between $ 500,000 and $ 1 million and 300,000, while backroom contracts per player ranged between $ 500,000. And 600 thousand ».

He pointed out that "there are clubs that pay between five and six million dollars to one foreign player to sign him, such as Sharjah player Igor Konardo."

He explained: "Some may say that it is not necessary for the club to spend large financial contracts on contracts in order to win championships, and this is not true, as is the example of Al Ain and Al-Ahly Youth and currently Sharjah, as the club that spends wins championships and whoever does not spend does not achieve titles except in exceptional cases." .

Al Shamsi added, "When we disclose the players’ salaries, it is not envious of envy. Rather, we strive to present them to Sports Street. "
