Filippa Curmark, who has played in Gothenburg since 2015, had thus been told about the national team selection very recently when SVT Sport reached her by phone.

- It is of course a great happiness.

I feel very happy and grateful.

I found out 10-15 minutes after the selection.

People had sent and called on their mobile phones, she says.

Curmark is the only debutant in Gerhardsson's squad for the European Championship qualifiers against Hungary and Iceland.

That she would be with was not something she had expected.

- You take nothing for granted and I have not been there before so you do not know how they think.

Joining is of course a bonus and a receipt that you have done something good in the club this season, she says.

What do you think you can contribute at a national team level?

- I will only be myself and be as I usually am.

Contribute what I can and what I'm good at.

Gothenburg, just like Rosengård, has six players in the squad.

The two have by far the most players in the national team.

- It's great fun that there are so many from our team and that we get to share this, says Curmark.

Sweden has started the European Championship qualifiers with three straight victories and leads the qualifying group on the same points as Iceland.
