After the table second Gothenburg's loss yesterday against Kristianstad, Rosengård today had the chance to take a small grip on the Swedish Championship gold. And they made sure to do that.

The decision came in the 68th minute when Anna Anvegård put 2-1 on penalties. Anvegård tricked Cosette Jolee Morche into Eskilstuna's goal before she hit the ball to the right of Morche.

The goal was Anvegård's ninth in this year's damallsvenska.

Rosengård started brilliantly with speed and smart combinations and also created several goal chances early in the match.

Exploited passive defense

The lead goal did not come completely illogical already after five minutes. Anvegård took advantage of Eskilstuna's passive defensive play when she was allowed to pull just outside the penalty area and put 1-0.

25 minutes later, Eskilstuna equalized through Loreta Kullashi on a penalty before Anvegård thus painted again.

Eskilstuna took over the ball possession at the end of the match in search of a draw. After 89 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defense allowed Anna Oskarsson to get through. But Oskarsson, who also had the opportunity to play a teammate, pulled the shot on Zecira Musovic in Rosengård's goal.

With the victory, Rosengård damallsvenskan leads three points ahead of Gothenburg.
