“There is no smoke without fire, but I'm surprised. Apparently, something really serious has happened. If a referee violates the fair-play rules, if he is dishonest, then, probably, you need to take some measures. After all, dishonest football players and coaches are sometimes also suspended. If there is evidence of Eskov's guilt, disqualification is one of the punishments that he must incur. I don’t know how much polygraph tests by referees will help “cleanse” Russian football, but someone will definitely think about it. What happened could be a lesson for others, ”Kerzhakov said in an interview with RT.

In the match "Spartak" - "Sochi" two controversial penalties were assigned to the gates of the Muscovites, the decisive of which, in the 88th minute of the meeting, was later officially recognized by the RFU as erroneous. After that, the main referee of the match, Vasily Kazartsev, successfully passed a polygraph test, but at the same time he was still suspended from work for an indefinite period.

Eskov also had to pass a lie detector test. On August 28, the media reported that Eskov had failed the check.

Earlier, journalist Vasily Utkin commented on rumors that the referee Eskov did not pass a polygraph test.
