The onshore Japan Championships held in Niigata City in October, postponed due to the new coronavirus, will be held with an audience of up to 2000 people living in Niigata Prefecture.

This was announced on 28th by the Japan Athletics Federation.

The Japan Athletics Championship was scheduled to be held in Osaka City in June this year, but it was postponed due to the spread of infection, and the venue was changed to the Big Swan Stadium in Niigata City from October 1st to 3rd. Will be opened.

Regarding the acceptance of spectators to the tournament, the Japan Land Federation decided to allow 2000 people living in Niigata prefecture to the maximum of one day for the capacity of 42,300 people in order to avoid crowding.

When entering the venue, they will be asked to show a certificate that confirms their address. Ticket sales will be announced on the Japan Land Federation website in the middle of next month.

On the other hand, we are not accepting spectators at the Japan Championships of 10-type and 7-type "hybrid" in Nagano City on the 26th and 27th of next month.
