The French Football Federation announced Friday evening that Nabil Fekir had been called up by coach Didier Deschamps. He replaces the young Lyonnais Houssem Aouar, who tested positive for Covid-19. The France team will face Sweden on September 3 in the League of Nations. 

Coach Didier Deschamps summoned Nabil Fekir on Friday for the Blues matches in early September in Sweden and against Croatia in the League of Nations in place of Houssem Aouar, who tested positive for Covid-19, announced the French Football Federation (FFF ).

Aouar was called for the first time in selection

Placed on Friday in the fortnight by Olympique Lyonnais, the 22-year-old midfielder, called for the first time in the selection, "will therefore not be able to respond to Didier Deschamps' summons for the rally which begins on Monday", indicates the FFF.

Nabil Fekir, a 27-year-old midfielder at Real Betis, has 24 caps with the Blues.
