Shohei Otani of the big league, Angels, presented a pitching machine to a female baseball team of her alma mater in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, and presented it to the players.

At Hanamaki Higashi High School, the alma mater of Shohei Otani of Major League Angels, this spring's first women's hardball baseball club was created, and 13 members are active.

According to high school, when the women's baseball team was founded, Otani made an offer to help, and he was given a pitching machine.

The machine that arrived this month was accompanied by "Presented by Ohtani Shohei" in English and was shown to the players on the 26th.

The pitching machine was used immediately for practice, and the players showed a dynamic swing like Otani, while struggling with the straight ball thrown from the machine.

"I'm very happy to have a machine from my longing player Otani. I want to do my best to meet expectations," said Captain Rui Kono.

Mr. Kenjo Miki said, "I want to use the machine to practice more like a real battle and improve the batting power to get closer to Otani."
