  The 2020 FIDE Online Olympic Team Tournament is the largest online chess tournament since the establishment of the FIDE. A total of 163 national and regional teams participated.

  The competition is divided into 5 groups, from low to high to compete for this event. After a few days ago, from the fifth largest group, a total of 15 teams stood out and participated in the competition of the highest level group.

  The 15 teams are divided into four groups, with ten teams in each group in a single round robin, and the top three in each group fight for the final championship. As the seeded team, the Chinese team was assigned to Group A.

  In the group stage, the Chinese team performed smoothly and ranked in the forefront. In the final battle, the Chinese team played against India. These are the two strongest teams in this group and directly related to the first place in the group. The Chinese team sent Ding Liren, Yu Yangyi, Hou Yifan, Ju Wenjun, Liu Yan, Zhu Jiner, and India was Vidit, Harry Krishnan, Conneru, Harika and Pragna Nanda, Germany Mukesh.
